Cause and Effect For instance… Johnny and Ponyboy accidentally fall asleep in the park. Because he is late, Ponyboy gets slapped by his big brother causing him to run away to the park with Johnny. There, they are approached by the drunk Socs who almost drown Pony. In self defense, Johnny fatally stabs one of them. They panic and leave town. When the church they’re hiding out in catches fire with children in it, they both rush in to save them. Johnny later dies from injuries sustained in the fire.

Cause and Effect

So, where’s the Plot? The plot consists of all of the events that tie the story together. To find the plot of the story we must be able to string all of the events together in a way which makes sense.

The Three Little Pigs Then the wolf tried a different approach. He called into the house, “Little Pigs! Little Pigs! your house is on fire. You better come out of there before it’s too late.” But seeing no fire, the pigs stayed inside their strong house made of brick.

The Three Little Pigs But the wolf was a sly old wolf and he climbed up on the roof to look for a way into the brick house. The little pigs saw the wolf climb up on the roof and lit a roaring fire in the fireplace and placed on it a large kettle of water.

The Three Little Pigs When the wolf finally found the hole in the chimney he crawled down and SPLASH right into that kettle of water. In celebration of their TRIUMPH, the Three Little Pigs have a big party where all of their guests enjoy some tasty treats… including some Big Bad Wolf stew.

Fold this segment back. 2.Fold the remaining space in half like a hamburger. 3.Repeat this 3 times. 4.Place paper inside the fold of the other and glue them together. 5.Repeat this step. You should now have one long accordion shaped sheet. Let dry.
