THE USE OF THE NET IS SPREAD EVEN AMONG THE PARENTS; THEY PREFER THE COMPUTER OVER THE PHONE, TO SURF INTERNET AND WORK.

PARENTS’ CONTROL Most of the parents don't check their sons' messages or online activity, also because the teens keep a secret password on it. When the teens use computers and phones are often unmonitored.

THE AMOUNT OF GIGABYTES ON PHONES BOTH FOR THE TEENS AND THE ADULTS GOES FROM 2 (THE MAIN PART) TO 4 (AS A MAXIMUM)

COSTS The amount of gigabites on phones both for the teens and the adults goes from 2 (the main part) to 4 monthly (as a maximum); the average expense for each phone comes around 10 euros monthly, equally distributed among teens and adults

PROVOCATORY ATTITUDES ON THE NET Generally, conflicts don't rise between sons and parents, due to the use of internet and phone. Rarely, insults come on whatsapp, but they are received by the students as passing disagrees and not as bully acts

VARIOUS USES OF THE PHONES Regarding the use of the phone, students mentioned an intense activity of music listening and chatting. Sometimes they also use it while studying, for searching activities.

VARIOUS USES OF THE PHONES

SECURITY WHILE SURFING BOTH INTERNET AND SOCIAL NETWORKS The most relevant data among students regards the good level of protection and privacy in social networks

VIDEOGAMES AND PLAYERS

VIDEO GAMES AND UNKNOWN PARTNERS These graphics underline the worrying frequency of over eighteen years old unknown players among teens.

Never has a teenager escaped school or extra school activity (such as sport) to play.

The phone remains switched on, while charging, even during the night and it’s mainly placed in bedroom

GROUPS The number of groups on chat goes from 6 to 10 among teens; from 2 to 4 among adults.

KIK VS ISTAGRAM

The average amount of time spent on both the phone and the computer for the various activities mentioned above is three hours a day.
