Statistics Mongolia’s population is million. Area : 1,566,500 square miles.

Statistics The capital of Mongolia is UlaanBaatar. Major Cities of Mongolia are Saynshand, Bayanhongor,Altay, Olgiy, Dund-us and dalandzadgag. Climate:Continental with precipitation and sharp seasonal fluctuations.

Geography Landforms: Arable land and permanent crops. Mongolia has many deserts. Natural Resources: Oil,coal,copper, molybdenum,tungsten, phosphates,tin,nickel,zinc, wolfram,fluorspar gold,silver and iron. Bodies of Water:Lake Baikal.

Culture Religion: Buddhist and Lamahist. Languages: Mongolian Turkish and Russian. Holidays:Christmas, Children's Day, and Naadam Festival

Culture Dress: Modest dress,hidjab,Sikhism, payos,forelocks,tzitzit and Buddhist robes Food: Meat,milk,barley, cereal and other fruits.

Landmarks Ulaanbaatar is the capital of Mongolia. It has a historical library that contains a wealth of ancient Mongolia,Tibetan and Chinese manuscripts. Saynshand is another part of Mongolia's famous places

Major Event Major Events: In 1206 AD a single Mongolian state was formed based on nomadic tribal grouping under the leadership of Chinggis. (“Chinggis”) Kahn’s grandson Kublai Kahn who,conquered china and established the Yuan Dynasty. ( AD) gained fame in Europe through the writing of Marco Polo.
