How we care for our natural beauty
Ecology is an important matter. The natural beauty of our country should be protected by all means. That is why we decided that our school should not be passive towards the needs of the Earth. Ecology is an important matter. The natural beauty of our country should be protected by all means. That is why we decided that our school should not be passive towards the needs of the Earth. REMEMBER!
Cleaning of the Earth Every year, our students clean the local forests. Young people are very eager to work because they know that the clean world is a matter of good upbringing and respect for the natural beauty.
Solar collectors Our school owns solar panels that focus the solar power which is then used for heating water in the school and the swimming pool. This is very important to save a lot of energy.
Ecotours Due to the natural beaty of our country, our students go for so called ecotrips. The main aims of those trips are to understand and get to know the regions of Poland. Whatever the season, Poland offers plenty of beautiful and virgin sites.
Collecting used batteries Our school takes part in the collecting of used batteries. The campaign is to keep our environment clean. Then points for these batteries may be changed for learning materials.
Do not evade- just HELP!
Another ecologic activity in our school is collecting old mobile phones, ink cartridges and toners for printers, because these things are recyclable.
Waste sorting in our school In our school every student knows how important is sorting our waste. We have got different bins for all kinds of garbage, like paper, plastic or glass.
Promoting ecology With raising awareness of our students and promoting eco- activities help us many actions in which we take part. For example there are competitions for the best eco- project, parades and performances.
Thank you for your attention! Hope we could show you a bit of eco activities in our school and you enjoyed it Ola & Karolina
