1999 Taiwan earthquake over 1700 people died

There was an earthquake in Taiwan. Timmy survived the earthquake. He wrote his story and put it on his home page. The Taiwan earthquake

Read the story quickly and try to answer the following question: Did people save Timmy at last?

1906 San Francisco Earthquake

At 5:13 on the morning of April 18th, 1906, the city of San Francisco was shaken by a terrible earthquake. A great part of city was destroyed and a large number of buildings were burnt. San Francisco Earthquake

The number of people who lost homes reached as many as 250,000. About 700 people died in the earthquake and the fires.
