INSPIRATIONAL PEOPLE IN SCHOOL We are surrounded by so many inspirational people in our school. Can you think of any pupils or adults at Brockington who you find inspirational? LEARNING TO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULL

LET’S TAKE A LOOK… We are going to take a look at two people in school who are ‘inspirational’. LEARNING TO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULL

MISS REYNOLDS  Miss Reynolds has been responsible for delivering the school’s Sky Sports Living for Sport projects for the last eight years. She believes that sport can be used to transform lives and her commitment to the initiative has led to over 150 pupils having the chance to participate in Sky Sports Living for Sport projects.  Miss Reynolds has shown great creativity and has organised a range of sport-led projects, from traditional sports such as tennis and football to boxing, cheerleading and self-defence.  By thinking of others, being creative and pushing her ideas, Miss Reynolds has made a difference to so many pupils at Brockington over the years. MRS CASSIDY  Mrs Cassidy and the community she is part of lost a teenager called Abbie after her fight with leukemia.  Mrs Cassidy has worked with others in her community and Abbie’s family to help to raise money for a Charity called ABBIE’S HIDEAWAY which helps to care for young people with cancer. The Charity was set up by Abbie’s father.  The aim of the charity is to provide families with the opportunity to spend quality vacation time with their children while undergoing treatment for cancer/leukemia.
