No excuse 1.We’re good people (9:31-10:4) –Their problem: PRIDE We can earn salvation through the LawWe can earn salvation through the Law So we don’t need a SaviorSo we don’t need a Savior

No excuse 1.We’re good people (9:31-10:4) –Their problem: PRIDE –Result: missed the whole point of the Law – to lead them to Jesus! Galatians 3:24–25 Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

No excuse 2.God expects too much (10:5-13) –Salvation by works is hard! Romans 2:7 to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life...for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified.
