STEP 1: Receiving the offer Be gracious and enthusiastic and thank them for the offer Do not commit until you receive an offer in writing, either or hard copy Do not rush into a decision! Ask for a timeline on when they need an answer Research first! Make sure you know who to call back for more information
STEP 2: Evaluating the offer Do the research thoroughly and put the 7 P’s to use! How much do you need to make? Determine the minimum to make the offer acceptable Discretionary (or disposable) income - amount left for spending, investing or saving after taxes and personal necessities (such as food, shelter, and clothing) - from Investopedia.com
