Economic Structure – On the man’s desk, there is a long receipt paper showing all the businesses sales. Social Structure – The workers in the background are working together to produce the product. Human-Environment Interaction – Outside, you can see coal coming from the smokestacks. This shows economic structure because from these receipts, we know that his business is doing well, resulting in him making a lot of money. This shows social structure because the workers (poor) are getting along with another group (rich), showing that the Industrial Revolution has brought them closer together. This shows human- environment interaction because humans are using natural resources (coal) to power the Industrial Revolution, which allows people jobs in factories and cheaper products. This shows economic structure because the receipts show how much money the business is making, very little of which goes to the actual workers This shows social structure because the proletariat are unified in their unfair and underpaid working conditions against the evil bourgeoisie. This shows human-environment interaction because the factories are polluting the planet, making it very difficult to breath and have clean air.
