This section of scripture contains the account of Jesus’ mortal life and ministry.

What is the Sabbath day?

Jesus taught about things that were familiar to the people, to help them learn a spiritual lesson. These are short stories that have a spiritual meaning.

What is a parable?

What do wheat and the tares, the sower, the good samaritan, the good shepherd, the talents and the sheep and the goat etc., have in common?

What are parables?

This parable has rock, sand and water.

What is the parable of the “House built upon the rock”? What is the meaning?

His son was lost to the world and returned for forgiveness.

What is the parable of the prodigal son?

This parable refers to a master giving his servants different amounts of gold.

What is the parable of the talents?

He was dead for four days before Jesus performed this miracle.

What is the raising of Lazarus?

These ten men had a horrible skin disease, were healed and only one came back to thank Jesus.

Who were the ten lepers?

This is an amazing or unusual occurrence that cannot always be explained logically. What power does it show?
