Film Trailer By Toni Childs

is it a Nightmare? The film ‘is it a Nightmare?’ Is about a group of friends who go into they are all in a haunted house and a ghost is haunting them. The group of friends include a Christian girl (Rhianna played by Bethan), a dumb blonde ( Brittney played by Bryony), a mental disabled girl ( Ruby played by Collette/Lettie) and the ghost ( played by Phoebe Cannel) The Christian girl gets scared because she believes ghosts are people that have been murdered and they come back to get revenge on their murderer and she murderer of the ghost. The dumb blonde doesn’t know what’s going on because she is a stereotypical blonde. The mental disabled girl thinks the ghost is her friend and keeps talking to it as if it’s an alive human. Everyone else thinks it’s a prank. The trailer for ‘is it a Nightmare?’ Will use fast paced running music and eerie music, both with sudden stops. It will be set in a dark, old creepy house. It will also be set in a forest.

The target audience for ‘is it a Nightmare?’ Is aged 15-dead. This is because it’s a horror/thriller film. Anyone can like these genre. People who enjoy ghosts, murder and the supernatural will love this film due to it containing ghosts. The purpose ‘is it a Nightmare?’ Is to entertain people. It’s platform will be cinema, TV and YouTube.

SWOT Analysis - is it a Nightmare? I believe ‘is it a Nightmare?’ Is a good film trailer concept as I have never seen a film like this before. If it is a very nice sunny day this will not fit the genre very well. It will need to find a dark place to film. If this is not possible then I will have the change the darkness level when I edited it. I will have to find a forest where there is no trespassing signs and contact the owner to ask for permission. I need Make-up or Face Paint to turn Phoebe in a ghost. The only items I will have to buy will be the Make-up or Face Paint.

Mood Board – is it a Nightmare?

Audio Files - is it a Nightmare? These are some audio files that I may use in ‘is it a Nightmare?’: eerie music (start 14 minutes) eerie music. I have chose eerie music because my film is about a creepy ghost and she is quite eerie and unsettling; this will be music for when she is around. fast pace music because I may have a running or quick moving scene in my film. dark music because my film is a dark, creepy film this music could nicely tie the film trailer together.

Mind Map – is it a Nightmare? Convention s of a Horror. Costume-:Ghost- black, ripped clothes. Dumb blonde- pink bright coloured clothes. Other people- clothes that they would normally wear. Music: eerie music and fast paced music. Dialogue: stupid sayings, stereotypical line of ‘ we should split into groups’. Shot Type: Extreme close up, birds eye view, lots of panning. Locations: Creepy forest, My house. Lighting: Very dark, shadow figures, flashlights. Miss en Scene: Jump scares. Characters: Dumb blonde, Ghost, Christian girl and Metal Disabled girl.

Just Breathe. ‘Just breathe’ is a film about a young girl who faces many difficult things in her life. The Characters in Just Breathe include a popular girl(Lauren Played Collette/Lettie), a group of humble, accepting girls (Megan, Caitlin, Alisha played by Bryony, Phoebe, Bethan), Nurse. The popular girl goes into hospital for 2 years she finds out she is a late diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis, which she has actually had all her life. When she goes back to school everyone has forgot who she is and doesn’t remember who she is. Then a group of king-hearted people become her friends and Lauren realizes that it doesn’t matter who you are or what your like being yourself is the best person you can be. The music in the ‘Just Breathe’ trailer include Fight Song- Rachel Platten, sad soft music. The setting for Just Breathe will be My House, a Hospital, My School(concourse and dinning hall).

The target audience for Just Breathe is aged females; This is as it a Teen film. Any who loves The Fault in our Stars will love Just Breathe. People older than teens may watch it however they are not the primary target audience. Anyone who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis may want to watch is as well because Just Breathe is all about how Lauren copes with her new life. The purpose of Just Breathe is to entertain, inform and educate people about Cystic Fibrosis. The Just Breathe t Trailer’s platform will be Cinema, TV and YouTube.

SWOT Analysis - Just Breathe. I have chosen ‘Just Breathe’ as I believe it could be an enjoyable film with a good message behind it. I feel I could make this a good film due to personal experiences similar to the film idea. However ‘Just Breathe’ will need to include scenes in a hospital and I do not think I will be able to film in a hospital. The only way I could overcome this is by asking a hospital if I could film there and if not seeing if a can green screen a hospital. I will need to get a nebulizer and some other Cystic Fibrosis treatment items. I may also have a problem with copyrighted songs such as Fight song; in order to use this song I will have to contact the manager and herself to ask for permission to use Fight song in the ‘Just Breathe’ trailer.

Mood Board – Just Breathe

Mind Map – Just Breathe Convention s of a Teen film. Costume: School Uniform, everyday clothes. Music: Fight song by Rachel Platten, sad and soft music. Dialogue: ‘I’m still the same me’. Shot Type: panning, close-up, wide shot. Locations: a Hospital, a school and my house. Lighting: Everyday lighting, slightly darker for sad moments. Props: nebuliser, Cystic Fibrosis medication. Characters: Popular girl who’s life changes, lots of extras, a group humble friends.

Audio File – Just Breathe. These are some audio files that it will use in ‘Just Breathe’: happy music for at the beginning when Lauren is with all her popular friends and everything ig good and happy. sad music. sad music. sad music because my film will contain some sad moments and when she is in the hospital, sad music will be playing as well as when she looses all her friends. I have chose various pieces of sad music for different parts. Fight song by Rachel Platten because the song talks about what it is like to fight daily and will play when she is starting her treatments and starting to fight Cystic Fibrosis.
