Pre Season Training The sessions will prepare you for fixtures and take place at IPS. If the weather is poor we will train inside. Tuesday 15, Wednesday 16, Thursday 17 and Tuesday 22 April. U13s am U15s am-12.30pm U18s pm

Fixtures The fixture list is more challenging than ever. There are 48 games in the senior school alone, in a 10 week term. If selected to represent IPS, you are expected to do so and be part of the team. However we understand that there are other commitments and you must therefore communicate fully with Mr Brown and the PE staff.

Age Groups In 2012 we began playing cricket at 3 age groups in the Senior School. As a result we noted: -More competition -Improved results -Better opposition -Improved cricketers -Greater desire to play

1 st XI and 2 nd XI If you expect to represent the school at 1 st XI level you are setting the benchmark for performance and standards at IPS. To this end, training and gaining further experience is vital. The change from youth cricket to adult cricket can be a tough one. You are all young adults now!

Kit If you represent the school you NEED to have: your own cricket shirt, trousers and cross trainers. Shorts are NOT acceptable. Should have: spikes and batting equipment. Sheen Sports will give a 15% discount offered on all cricket equipment up to the start of term! Go soon for special offers on premium bats, pads and clothing.
