Bullying Lesson 4 Learning Objective: To be able to understand the school’s bullying policy and evaluate how it can be used.

Where does bullying happen? Last lesson, we looked at cyber bullying, where else may students experience bullying or have worries of being bullied? An American elementary school had a bullying issue and the students there made this film: AxM AxM

What makes someone become a bully? What could be done to stop the bullying from happening?

Our School Bullying Policy Read the school’s bullying policy and comment on whether you think it covers everything for our modern world. Is there anything missing? You can write on the policy what you think should be changed or anything you like or can be adapted.

What to do if you are a victim... You now need to be split into four groups and create an A5 flier about what to do if you are a victim of bullying or find yourself being a bully for these groups of people: 1. Students, 2. Staff, 3. Parents/guardians/carers 4. Friends
