Men and women are very different when it comes to sex. It’s obvious that men more visual and are more willing to have sex with just about anyone. As to women are more emotional and more picky when it comes to sexual partners. Some cognitive and behavioral have suggested a lot of other key differences between the sexes. Men are able to detect erotic story and women are able to detect the romantic sentences. Men and women don’t look at the same things in sexual photos, they show different amygdala and hypothalamic activation but with the males it shows greater activation than females. There are three top similarities for having sex: making love, for commitment, and for physical gratification. HIS AND HER BRAINS

Many factors can determine if you find someone attracted. But it’s all just a matter of a variety of elements, physical, mental, and emotional attraction. Researchers have found that sweat during sexual arousal selectively activates different parts of the brain. Human sexual arousal sweat showed a different activation pattern in the orbitofrontal cortex and the right hypothalamus. We don’t have a solid understanding on what goes into attraction. NEUROBIOLOGY OF ATTRACTION

We all fall in love a few times in our lifetime. There’s a few neurochemicals that work together to help voles make a pair-bond: oxytocin, vasopressin and dopamine. With a few other chemicals mixed with these ones together with a little sex, transforms attraction with a few sniffs. Attraction is comes down to the right type of dopamine receptor. Being passionately in love alters the nerve growths factor levels in the brain. There are three different parts where romantic love resides: the ventral tegmental area, the caudate nucleus, and deep emotional attachment activates the ventral pallidum. They all do something a little different depending on the type of relationship you’re in. MAKING LOVE LAST

Love’s more addictive symptoms can stick around even if your lover doesn’t. The effects of a broken heart aren’t different from the kinds of withdrawal symptoms you may see in a detoxing junkie. A lost love can be debilitating. Dopamine receptor, DRD4, comes to risky business and linked with addiction. Love is an motivational drive, which as the qualities of addiction; ones drive is associated with a rich dopamine reward circuitry, and cravings. Every single relationship is different, different from other ones we’ve had previous. ADDICTED TO LOVE
