Canadian Involvement in World War II

Hitler invade Poland on 1 September 1939 Britain and France immediately declared war on Germany

Unlike WWI, Canada was not automatically brought into the conflict -Some people still felt strong ties to Britain -Other people wanted to end German aggression (FEAR)
