TEIN2 Report - CN

TEIN2/ORIENT Orient is a project linking academic networks in China and Europe Aim is to provide a dedicated high-bandwidth link for the many projects involving collaboration between European and Chinese institutions Now achieved at 2.5Gbps (STM-16c link between Beijing and Copenhagen) Access is currently 1Gbps to China and 622Mbps to the TEIN2 partners

User support of TEIN2/ORIENT Help the Sino-European research collaboration to make better use of TEIN2/ORIENT circuit: –For CERNET users: Have assigned dedicated IP address and bandwidth to some Sino-European collaboration projects (e.g. EUChiaGrid) for the better performance while using this circuit Application form can be download from web –For the institutions not connect to TEIN2 Work with them to find a better manner to use this circuit –A typical example is IHEP (Institute of High Energy Physics) –IHEP is now using the grid tool to do some performance tests
