Ovary – Immature egg cells, or ova, are stored here in follicles
Follicles – A cluster of cells surrounding an immature egg cell that help it mature.
Fallopian Tubes (Oviducts) – Tubes connecting each ovary to the uterus. Fertilization usually occurs here.
Uterus – able to receive and support a fertilized egg cell
Cervix – Outer end of the uterus
Vagina – Canal where sperm are received during intercourse. Also where a baby exits during child birth.
