Come to class prepared. Absences: All projects and assignments are due on the date(s) assigned. Should you be absent the day an assignment is given or the date it is due to be completed, it is your responsibility to ask for the work you need to make up. Treat everyone with courtesy and respect. Be trustworthy. Course Expectations Contact Information Instructor:Jesse Benedetti, M.B.A. Room:206Prep:12:57-1:39 (Mon.) and 12:37-1:29 (Tue.-Fri.)

This class is two fold: (1) You will manage the day to day operations of the Devil’s Den and (2) you will learn to design professional web pages using the hottest software in industry created by Macromedia. For the Devil’s Den, you will select and order merchandise for the student store. You will also be responsible to obtain a food handler’s permit and work the school store during lunch approximately one out of every seven class days. Extra credit may be earned by supervising basketball concessions during the winter. We will be using Macromedia MX Studio, which includes Fireworks, Dreamweaver, and Flash. We will start out with Fireworks, where you will learn to create dynamic web graphics that can be imported into Dreamweaver for high impact web pages. Flash MX will be introduced toward the end of the year for more animation and interactivity. Above all, responsibility is the most essential component to this course. You will work with a classroom set of Dell laptops and you will be left primarily alone to run the operations of the student store. If you can’t be trusted, you can’t be in this course.
