Year 6 Residential trip to France…

Where are we going? Château d’Ebblinghem is set in a rural location just 8km east of St Omer on the Opal Coast in northern France, and just 45 minutes from the Channel ports.

The Chateau Children sleep in rooms of 4. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom. Staff are on the same corridors as the children.

Itinerary Day One 6:45am Arrive at school 7:15am Coach departs 3:20pm Eurotunnel departs Folkestone 4:55pm Arrive Calais (local time) 6pm Arrive at Chateau d’Ebblinghem 6:30pm Evening meal and activities Day Two – Visit to Belgium Morning: Visit to Tyne Cot cemetery and Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 Afternoon: Visit to Ypres Cathedral, Menin Gate and chocolate shop Evening meal and activities

Day Three Morning: visit to Boulogne-sur-Mer to see market & take part in the NST Town Trail. Lunch at harbour. Afternoon: Visit goat farm Evening meal and activities Day Four 9am: leave Chateau 11:30am: Eurotunnel departs Calais 10:55am (local time): arrive Folkestone 6:30pm: anticipated arrival at Comberbach
