Advantages LimYingShingCA08141 PREPAID PLANSPOSTPAID PLANS Easy to top up.Greater security – can always make calls and never need to worry about the account balance. Saving.Free calls in the same network. No hidden fees.Cheaper call rates. No monthly bill to worry about.Virtually unlimited credit. Great if usage varies from month to month. No contract to sign.

Disadvantages PREPAID PLANSPOSTPAID PLANS Pay more per minute.Termination fee for breaking the contract. Lose money in account.Credit check.

LimYingShingCA08141 From the pie chart, we can notice that students prefer using prepaid plan (73%) in comparison to only 15% of the students that are using postpaid plan. Research also shows that there are 12% of the students using both prepaid and postpaid service plan. This clearly indicates that students more prefer to use prepaid plan because prepaid phone cards offer the convenience of making cheap calls. Postpaid plan on the other hand is more expensive compared to those who are using prepaid plan. But, both the prepaid and postpaid plan have its own advantages for the users.
