Success Funding Factors 1.Enrolled or graduated: Number of students who either enrolled or earned an associate degree in the current year. 2.First 15 Student Credit Hours (SCH): Number of students earning their first 15 semester SCH in the current year. 3.First 30 Student Credit Hours: Number of students earning their first 30 semester SCH in the current year. 4.DEV completed: Number of students who completed some developmental SCH in the current year.

Success Funding Factors 5.First 5 Math: Number of students earning their first 5 semester SCH of General Studies level Math course in the current year. 6.HS Dual Enrollment: Number of students who took college courses in the current year while enrolled in high school. 7.University Dual Enrollment: Number of students who took courses at a university, including branches, in current year.

Success Funding Factors 8.Transfer Points: One point is earned for each Year of Semester Credits Attempted that lead to a Transfer to a USO campus 9.First 45 Student Credit Hours: Number of students earning their first 45 semester SCH at this institution in the current year. 10.Associate Degree: Number of students earning an associate degree.

Enhancing Success 1.At the direction of Dr. O’Donnell, the College hired a consultant with much experience in student success 2.Student Success Workshops (late spring, early and late summer) 3.Focusing assessment on gatekeeper courses such as math and sciences 4.Establishment of the Mathematics Learning Center that is starting next week 5.Establishment of the Science Learning Center that is starting at the beginning of the spring semester 6. Hiring more full-time faculty in math and sciences 7. Establishment of the First Semester Experience course – common across all programs - and starting at the beginning of the spring semester 8.Professional development day focused on student engagement and student success
