Presentation transcript:

The Little Mailman of Bayberry Lane loved to deliver mail every day to his friends.

When he was done with his daily deliveries, he would go home. His home was a cozy little hole at the bottom of a really big wall.

Some nights the little mailman would write letters to his friends

The next day the little mailman started his rounds all over again.

Sometimes the Little Mailman liked to whistle as he made his rounds

Polly Pig liked to hear him whistle. Sometimes she would make him special treats, like butternut cookies.

On those days he always made sure Polly Pig got her mail first!

One cool Autumn day, the Little Mailman scurried all over Bayberry Lane delivering invitations. Dolly Duck’s invitation was yellow, her favorite color.

Gertie Goose’s invitations came in white, just like her Gooseberry bushes!

Timmy Turtle’s invitation was dressed in green. The only thing he liked better than invitations dressed in green were his tulip catalogs. His finest days were when he received both in the mail.

Polly Pig did not get an invitation, for the invitations came from her. She was inviting all her friends to a party to enjoy her lemon cakes and butternut cookies

On the day of Polly Pig’s party, everyone came and had a wonderful time, playing crochet and eating cookies and lemon pies.
