CHANGING CLOTHES …  Watch Tutorial in SLMOOC Playlist about changing clothes & creating outfits: SyMWE1LA SyMWE1LA  Don’t click “replace outfit” if the box doesn’t contain a whole outfit or if you are in public

SOME ADVICE …  Sit yourself down somewhere quiet and give yourself the time to click on everything on the top menus, the left hand side tool bar, the bottom of the frame toolbar  is your friend: Lots of advices, examples, links to YouTube videos and tutorials  Use Google to ask “How To” questions, lot of gold there  Do explore Newcomer Orientation areas and ask advice  Radar notifications and Chat, usually lower left hand corner of the Viewer  Received items, animation menus, usually upper right hand corner of the Viewer

SOME MORE ADVICE …  If you are faced with unpleasant people:  Right click on their bodies and mute them  Fly away  Click on a Favorite Landmark and Teleport  If they are super unpleasant, abusive or inappropriate, you can:  Right click on their bodies and click on “report” or Click on “Help” and then “Report Abuse”  If you know the manager of the region, IM them privately and ask them to eject the person

AND A LITTLE MORE ADVICE …  If you get stuck in a building, or under something, or you’re just not sure where you are, click on a landmark and teleport away  Some public places will let you “Set Home to Here”, if you are a member of the SLMOOC group and you have activated your Group Tag (right click on group name, and click “activate”) you can set your Home to the SLMOOC HQ  If somebody doesn’t respond when you say hello remember:  They might be a speaker of another language  They might be away from their keyboard
