It is the biggest Opera House in the world .It has seventeen floors, ten above the ground, and seven under the ground. Opera House has a ghost. He is a body without a head, or a head without a body. He has a yellow face, he has no nose, he has black holes for eyes. One day, a dancer saw him. She told everybody, most girl were afraid. But one of them , a tall girl with black hair, laughed. She said, The ghost doesn’t like people talking about him.

Christine watched her lover in the torture room. “Christine marry me, and love me, and then Raoul and the Persian can live,” said Erik. “From this minute I am your wife,” said Christine. And she kissed him. Then Erik put his ugly face in his hands and cried. “You are free, Christine, go away and marry your Raoul,” said Erik. For weeks, all Paris talked about that night at the opera. But nobody knew the answers. The Persian said slowly, “The Phantom is dead now. His name was Erik. But he couldn’t live in the outside world, because of his terrible, ugly face. And so he lived his strange life. But he was a man, in the end.” The Persian smiled. “What happened to young Raoul and the beautiful Christine …? Who knows?”
