Presentation transcript:

With the push of a button your REC TEC activates its auger and adds a few hardwood pellets to its stainless steel fire pot. At the same time, the REC TEC's igniter starts to heat up to light the wood pellets. Within a few minutes the smell of smoke wafts from the smoke stack, the pellets light, your REC TEC roars to life, and the temperature starts to climb toward the temperature you selected. After the fire is lit, the Smart Grill Technology™ processor turns off the igniter and continues adding pellets making the temperature climb. As your REC TEC closes in on your selected temperature, it slows the climb to prevent overshooting your selected temperature. Your REC TEC will use its proprietary PID Algorithm to reach the selected temperature and precisely maintain that temperature.PID Algorithm Smart Grill Technology™ The Future of BBQ has Arrived

Better Cooking REC TEC's revolutionary Smart Grill Technology™ automatically adjusts the rate at which REC TEC Premium Hardwood Pellets are introduced into the fire pot to maintain a constant temperature without the constant monitoring that other grills require. The result is the simplest and most convenient way for backyard barbecue enthusiasts to cook, bake, roast, grill or slow smoke their favorite foods while adding flavor profiles that can only come from a real wood fire. Just set your temperature and let your REC TEC Wood Pellet Grill take all the guesswork out of your next cookout.Smart Grill Technology™

Over half of Americans use gas grills exclusively and are willing to sacrifice flavor for convenience. Even most charcoal grillers own a gas grill for “quick” jobs. REC TEC is bringing the art of grilling into the computer age with advent of Smart Grill Technology™ and its proprietary temperature control algorithm. Now backyard enthusiasts can create consistent results with the flavor of a real wood fire and the convenience that rivals gas grills. Several years ago two friends decided that they would create the ultimate grill. First they would conquer temperature control. Why should an indoor oven have better temperature control than a grill? From this Smart Grill Technology™ was born. But converting technology from a gas oven to a gas grill was just the beginning. Why not conquer flavor too? So Smart Grill Technology™ was used to control a real wood fire and was calibrated to produce accurate temperatures when using REC TEC Premium Hardwood Pellets.
