Purpose To provide technical assistance for data management activities in EPI Unit with focus on National Disaster Loss Database for the target users and applications.

Data cleaning and feedback loops Standard Operating Procedures: Data cleaning takes place at the national level. There are three backup procedures currently running for epidemiological data: 1)a mirror system running with file server, 2)every Friday the data manager backs-up all databases to a hard drive in computer room and 1)floppies are used for day-to-day backup operations by data entry operators.
