Lucie linssen, April 9th 2008, SLHC-PP kick-off meeting 1 Use of SLHC-PP resources, reporting, practical info

Lucie linssen, April 9th 2008, SLHC-PP kick-off meeting 2 contents Overview of resources Suggestion for financial implementation plan Technical reporting

Lucie linssen, April 9th 2008, SLHC-PP kick-off meeting 3 SLHC-PP resources Details of SLHC-PP resources can be found in the Annex 1 document, pages The numbers given there, are indicative numbers. Within reason, you can shift resources between personnel travel consumables without need for written justification.

Lucie linssen, April 9th 2008, SLHC-PP kick-off meeting 4 SLHC-PP resources For the EU reporting, you need to justify the Total Direct Cost (own contribution + EU contribution). Indirect costs do not need to be justified for institutes applying a flat rate (15/17). Make sure the cost you declare is eligible and keep copies of supporting material (bills etc.) available during 5 years for possible EU audits.

Lucie linssen, April 9th 2008, SLHC-PP kick-off meeting 5 Prepare a simple resources plan Check with your own Finance department whether you can recover some of the EU reimbursement for indirect cost for your project. This tells you who shall fill out time sheets, and for how many hours per week

Lucie linssen, April 9th 2008, SLHC-PP kick-off meeting 6 More on financial rules For more detailed information on EU financial rules: ftp://ftp.cordis.europa.eu/pub/fp7/docs/financialguide_en.pdf Audit report, to accompany Form C, are only needed in case the EU contribution exceeds 375 k€ (when cumulated with previous payments for which no Audit report was provided)

Lucie linssen, April 9th 2008, SLHC-PP kick-off meeting 7 Technical report to EU the EDMS link Contains templates (.dot) for the periodic and final reporting. They contain the explicit structure to report on progress, as well as the tables of Deliverables and Milestones, and tables to explain how resources have been used. Deliverable and milestone reports have no templates, but can be “short”.
