Achievement 1 Tennis Ball Characteristics 1.Throw the tennis ball from an underarm position against the wall. Try to catch the ball after one bounce – Standard shot. Complete 5 2.Throw the ball from an underarm position against the wall. Try to catch the ball without it bouncing – Volley shot. Complete 5

Achievement 2 Ball and Racquet Interaction Try and bounce the ball on the racquet without the ball hitting the floor. Try to keep the ball under control at all times. Try to keep the ball close and in the centre of the racquet. Complete 5 without the ball hitting the floor

Achievement 3 Striking the Ball 1.Allow the ball to bounce once before hitting the ball against the wall. On return allow the ball to bounce once before repeating. Use both faces of the racquet – Standard forehand and backhand shot. Complete 5 using a mixture of forehand and backhand shots 2.Repeat the above but do not allow the ball to bounce on return from the wall – Forehand and backhand volley. Complete 5 using a mixture of forehand and backhand volleys
