 Government by the people.  Democracy in the U.S lets citizens vote when there 18 years old.

 A government controlled by a few wealthy people.  In ancient greek many aristocracy controlled the government.

 A person who studies truth and knowledge.  Philosophers in ancient greece are like teachers today.

 To live forever.  People In ancient greece try to be immortal so they never die.

 An outdoor marketplace in ancient greece.  Their were a lot of agora in ancient greek.

 A traditional story that may include gods and goddesses and often tries to explain events in nature.  Many people in ancient greek believe in myth.

 An epidemic of an often fatal disease.  There was a disease called plague that spreaded all over greece.
