 Richland College was the first community college in the U.S. to receive the Baldrige Award  The National League of Nursing named Collin College a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education  Houston Community College won a 2011 THECB Star Award for its In-House Online Tutoring Program  In 2010, Brazosport College’s Learning Frameworks course was awarded a Star Award and Lonestar’s Kingwood and CyFair colleges were recognized for Modeling Excellence in Collaborative Teacher Education  Palo Alto College significantly increased retention and student success in developmental math through an accelerated curricular approach THECB 7/2012 AND AT COMMUNITY COLLEGES
