HISTORY OF RECONSTITUTED TOBACCO Reconstituted Tobacco started in the 1970’s with the introduction of Paper Based Technology developed by Kimberley Clark USA. In the 1990’s, a new production process for RECON was launched called Slurry RECON by China National Tobacco Company (CNTC). In the early 2000’s, a hybrid of Paper Process and Slurry was developed by companies such as BAT. Nano Fiber RECON is the latest technology developed in Excellent way to save the Cost, improve the Taste and lower the Tar. WHY RECONSTITUTED TOBACCO? “Economical & Eco-friendly” “Economical & Eco-friendly” “Filling Volume Increase” “Filling Volume Increase” “Taste & flavor Adjustment” “Taste & flavor Adjustment” “Tar Reduction” 1970 Paper based technology developed 1990 Slurry type Recon. being popular in China 2000 Hybrid process developed 2008 Nano Fiber Technology developed

Excellent way to save the Cost, improve the Taste and lower the Tar. Fourdrinier forming section of cantilever type Sheet Conveyor after Air Drying Tunnel Shredder PAPER TECHNOLOGY OUR RECONSTITUTED TOBACCO LEAF Papermaking reconstituted tobacco utilizes tobac co by-products such as stems, scraps and midribs etc. as its raw material and produced by paper technology. Tobacco by-products are broken up and mixed with water. The fiber portion and the soluble portion are separated. The fiber portion goes to papermaking process to be formed as a base sheet The soluble is cleaned and then concentrated by evaporation. The formed sheet and the extracted soluble is combined again. The sheet is dried and cut into usable shapes for cigarette manufacturer.

Excellent way to save the Cost, improve the Taste and lower the Tar. NANO FIBER RECON TECHNOLOGY Pioneered by RECON INC Brazil and commercialized by STI. This technology has now become the benchmark for the best quality Reconstituted Tobacco in the world in terms of tensile strength, aromatic preservation, filling power and cost efficiency. Production Process of Nano Fiber Technology is as below ; Dust & StemsGrinding Mixing DryingCutting Virginia Orange Virginia Brown Burley

Excellent way to save the Cost, improve the Taste and lower the Tar. This RECON is the only one supplied as Cut Rag at cut width 0.7 to 1.0 mm Virginia Orange Virginia Brown Burley Product code RI-Burley Color: dark brown Thickness: mm Density: gr/sq.m Tensile strength: 100 KG NIC: 1.5-2% Sugar: 2.0% Filling power: Color: Orange Thickness: mm Density: gr/sq.m Tensile strength: 100 KG NIC: % Sugar: 2.5% Filling power: Product code RI-Brown Color: Brown Thickness: mm Density: gr/sq.m Tensile strength: 100 KG NIC: % Sugar: 2.5% Filling power: TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF NANO FIBER RECONSTITUTED

Excellent way to save the Cost, improve the Taste and lower the Tar. Homogenized tobacco leaf (HTL) is a mixture of chopped scraps tobacco and a cellulose adhesive, which is extruded into a sheet that can be cut in any size. We have the homogenized tobacco at good quality of taste & aroma.
