{ A Walk Down Memory Lane. S – Annie Tran Digital Imaging: Semester

As I was growing up, my parents would often take me to Chinatown. One of my first memories was actually from here. The reason why we came here regularly was because of my cultural background and nationality, being Chinese myself. Many of my family members once owned and most still owns restaurants in Chinatown. My family and I often came to one of the restaurants here for birthday celebrations, Chinese New Year, family gatherings, dinners and many other events. My first job was actually in Chinatown working for my uncle in a restaurant as a waitress. This street brings back warm memories of laughter, smile and the lovely smell of food still steaming and sizzling on the plates. Modifications that I have made includes adding more warmth to the photo, cropping out any unwanted pedestrians. Skies has been darken and made more blue, but the signs and lights on the streets has been slightly modified to make it look more bright, ‘lively 'and friendly. By applying these modifications, the photo reflected the mood I held, which was contentment, bliss and passion. Why This Particular Place?
