Tuesday, 12 January An eathquake struck Haiti… Haiti's government estimates about 230,000 people died in the earthquake.

Food waste is now the second largest waste stream sent to landfills, where it produces methane, a deadly greenhouse gas that further impacts climate change. Climate change, in turn, is having a deadly impact on our food supply. 8.3 million tonnes of food is thrown away by households in the UK every year. If we all stop wasting food that could have been eaten, the CO2 impact would be the equivalent of taking 1 in 4 cars off the road.
