Day 4 Report ( ) Unity Group Messengers of Peace Local Coordinators Gathering Bhubaneswar 26 th to 30 th December 2015 Bharat Scouts & Guides

Morning Reflections Day 4 was started with a refreshing Morning Reflection Session & also with some fabulous quotation slides which were really motivational & at the end we learned “To start a happy life we should love everyone & also express them”

Video with a story of group of monkeys & banana Here we learnt a proper way of ORGANISATIONAL MANAGEMENT Like If we are not getting proper result we should either find a Good Leader to control Else Go for a Complete Change

Think like a Cub/Scout/Rovers/Adult Leaders It was a good BRAINSTORMING Activity to collect different views on “PEACE ACTIVITY” & It was really helpful for us to increase our Presentation Skill & wide thinking on practical scenarios & We also learned how to do EFFECTIVE TEAM WORK & TIME MANAGEMENT

Dance Competition on MoP Song First of all we really enjoyed this & after dancing in a such huge gathering it improved our “SELF ESTEEM & BODY CONFIDENCE” & Also we felt How can someone get “PEACE THROUGH DANCING” Not only peace in himself even people watching to them will also feel happy so sharing happiness is another step towards “PEACE”

Training & Discussion on MoP State Scenarios Got a knowledge on the method “How to study practical scenarios i.e. Scopes in our State/Dist. & Challenges in implementation So that We can do a Better Planning & set a Good Target

GOAL SETTING by Participants It gave us a chance to think about ORGANISATIONAL PLANNING & also improved our knowledge on CURRENT SCENARIO OF OUR STATE/DIST Also we got to know about some important things on Goal Setting i.e. A GOAL should always be “SPECIFIC, REALISTIC, ACHIEVABLE, TIME BOUND”

Some Brain Testing Questions Here we learned We should always WORK LIKE A CHAIN Specially all the coordinators for effective result & good MONITORING for having a good CONTROL WE SHOULD NEVER BREAK THE CHAIN OR OUR COMMUNICATION NETWORK

Discussion on some practical reasons for failure of a project & also elements of successful projects This was really a very important part of the session as this is what is going to help us when we will start to work in practical fields Because It made us aware on the future circumstances so that we can plan accordingly keeping these points in mind

A brief Training on Project Management  This gave us a very clear idea on SYSTEMATIC PROCEDURES to be followed to make our project a successful one.  Learned PROPER OFFICIAL DOCU,MENTATION OF PROJECT.  How to prepare Project proposal & Charter to convince our GOVERNING BODY & BENEFICIARIES.  About reporting methods for PROPER MONITORING.

Our Role, About Logo, Earning Badge & Scarf  After this session we are feeling more CONFIDENT because only FULL KNOWLEDGE can give confidence.  All the knowledge on MoP Logo, Badge & Scarf are very useful for us which will make us a EFFECTIVE COORDINATOR when we deal with our Target Group  Lastly the REWARD & APPRECIATION part really MOTIVATED us towards our MoP Targets.

Overall Learning's Sessions of Day 4 are the vital parts of entire training as it made us clear about “HOW, WHERE & WITH WHOM” we will start our work Which are very CLEAR, PRACTICAL & we learned about “ALL THE TECHNICAL THINGS” to run MoP successfully in our locality & also we learned DATA ANALYSIS, PLANNING, GOAL SETTING, MONITORING, EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT
