Philippines – Australia Human Resource Development Facility Management Leadership Development Training for the Department of Education’s Mid-Level Managers : OBJECTIVES The DepEd middle level managers will be able to: 1) Demonstrate improved appreciation of their roles, duties, functions, responsibilities and accountabilities in support of the BESRA implementation; 2) Apply innovative leadership techniques that will facilitate the implementation of BESRA in their respective areas of responsibilities; 3) Initiate improvements for managing and nurturing their staff to perform effectively.

Philippines – Australia Human Resource Development Facility Activity Target Outputs Assessment of one's own leadership and management style to effectively target area/s for leadership and management improvement Assessment and Recommendations to address concerns that would facilitate institutional culture change within one’s area of responsibility with the view to contribute to the agency-wide institutional culture change effort to hasten the implementation of the BESRA Action Plan to attain one's leadership and management target area of improvement (in relation to one's assessment of his/her leadership style)

Philippines – Australia Human Resource Development Facility Component 1 - Training 113 participants (26 from Central & 87 from the regions) 4 batches Training was conducted from August 20 to September 18, 2008 at the MMLDC Antipolo City. Output of Component – Comprehensive Leadership Action Plan (CLAP)
