How to Use the Data Show Projector Presentation by Mr. B.

Where is the data show projector? It’s in most classrooms. It’s hanging from the ceiling on a pole. It’s in a perfect location to use a remote control device. It’s usually just out of your reach!

How do we connect the data show projector? It’s important to know which port to use in order not to damage either the projector plug or the laptop port.

You use the small blue female port on your laptop.

A correctly connected cable… Caution: Don’t tighten the screws when connecting the projector. It’s not necessary. Do not put any stress on the cable while it’s connected.

After pressing the power button once… …the projector will make a sound and search for a source of information to display.

Which keys do you press to display your output?

Be sure to hold down the ALT key while you press and release the F8 key.

Your laptop will begin to send the output on your monitor to the projector.

You’re ready to begin your presentation!!

Do you keep the Lights on or turn them off? You may desire to keep the lights on, turn them off, or keep only ½ of them on. It really just depends on what you like, how much light is in the classroom, and how your students will respond during the presentation.

How do we shutdown the data show projector? You need to press the power button two times.

Remember to press the power button twice!!!

Thank You for Your Attention!
