Curriculum overview Under Grad Thesis – 20 – 30 students EWB Challenge ~ 10,000 students Future Engineers ~ 2,000 students EWB Innovators ~ 120 students Future Engineers program ~ 500 schools, 15,000 students

EWB Challenge Increase Student Participation – Representative in each state to identify suitable courses for the challenge Increase Student Engagement – Presentations from corporate partners and returned volunteers Volunteer Engagement – Increased volunteer engagement in resource development, responding to technical queries, conducting presentations, coordinating local activities Design Implementation – Limited success thus far, linkage with Innovators program

EWB Future engineers University students undertaking school outreach as part of their coursework Leveraging existing university outreach offices in partnership with local chapters

EWB Innovators Senior engineering projects for small teams Direct link with volunteers / partner Strategic research projects peripheral to core knowledge hub activities (e.g. Tonle Sap biodigestor, earthquake research)

Undergraduate thesis program The capstone of the EWB undergraduate curriculum for motivated and experienced students Undertaking strategic research projects Develop opportunities for students to undertake short placement as part of project.
