Body Language By Catherina Wu( )

The Genuine Smile This smile doesn’t mean to have a will for talk or help. It just show your friendliness. It is difficult to know their true feelings.

The Forced Smile It doesn’t have much eye contact and the month just goes up a little bit. Usually used out of politeness. It could mean the person is not telling the whole truth.

Confidence Gesture ACTION: Hands are in the pocket, leaving the thumbs out. It shows confidence, they probably feel superior.

Unwelcome Gesture ACTION: Hands are all in the pocket. It means you don’t want to communicate. It shows secretive, possibly lying.

Welcome Gesture ACTION: Open hand wave (not in the pocket) It means inviting, welcoming.

The Gesture in different countries In Philippines, it means money. In Indonesia, it means zero or you are nothing. In Taiwan, it means okay.
