Is right for you? YES! Smarthinking has so many subjects, it is easier to list what it DOESN’T have: History, Psychology, Sociology (for additional help with those subjects, be sure to use ARC’s Supplemental Instruction and tutoring services), and Writing (use GSW’s awesome Writing Center). What DOES it have? Here’s a sample of subjects below. And there is more!

Where is it? Smarthinking is accessed through your GeorgiaView account

has services to meet your needs 1. Need help RIGHT NOW? On-line, live tutoring. Select “Drop-In Tutoring.” (Get familiar with the Hours of Service for each subject.)

has services to meet your needs 2. Have a question you will need resolved in about 24-hours? Select “Offline Questions.” Help will arrive via “Personal Archive.”

has services to meet your needs 3. Know your subject requires on-going review? Select “Scheduled Tutoring.” Subjects must be scheduled 48-hours in advance, but the time can be reserved for the whole semester as your schedule allows. Pick your favorite instructor, too!

How does it work? All work is submitted through a Whiteboard. When you select your session, the whiteboard opens. Ask questions, insert formulas, attach documents and submit.

What else should I know about ? You will be asked to complete a VERY SHORT survey after each visit. Please help us by being honest with your assessment. If you don’t like Smarthinking, we don’t like it either. We want this service to help you succeed.
