Idea of the Project Main idea of the Project is to create necessary conditions for face-to-face communication in informal atmosphere between student and mature professional We’re planning to organize conversations between professionals and students in an interview format. Imitation of an interview case, as if there is a employer (professional) and potential employee (student) Suleyman Demirel University: Interview Project

Mission and goals of the Project Mission of the Project is to assist to the student community in forming their professional vision, defining preferred areas of specialization, and in making future career plans The following goals are strived: Provide an opportunity to contact/talk with real business professionals Get an aware of requirements for new specialists from different companies Get introduced with different interview processes and hiring methods Strengthen ties between business and student communities Get introduced with working and business environment Suleyman Demirel University: Interview Project

Realization mechanism/steps of the Project Coordination with university administration and getting approval Negotiations and interview scheduling with companies Interviews and monitoring of the process Project results review  Guarantee support from key staff and administration (dean, interested lecturers, career center)  Prepare official proposal samples with the seal of the SDU and signature of the dean  Prepare the list of interested students  Prepare list of potential companies  Negotiations with company representatives  Coordination of interview time schedule  Arrange interviews  Monitor the execution of the schedule  Get feedback from university administration, companies and students  Evaluate the project success upon provided feedback Suleyman Demirel University: Interview Project

Expected outcome  We plan to get agreed upon this project with 15 recognized international and local companies (P&G, Ernst & Young, NAI Arystan, KPMG, etc.)  We expect that each company will be able to provide 10 conversations/interviews in average  We are going to involve 50 students, mainly from Faculty of Economics, to this project  Based upon mentioned expectations/assumptions we will organize 150 interviews to 50 students, so that each student will be interviewed 3 times  Every participated student will get an interview experience, up-to-date business/career knowledge and will get introduced with work environment of the certain companies  We hope that this project will be useful and successful, and will contribute to the student’s future success in particular, and SDU overall success in providing business education Suleyman Demirel University: Interview Project
