N EEDS – I NFANT ’ S L IBRARY Storage In library classroom and ESL to create an organised and tidy space. In storeroom to accommodate Science equipment and large hanging books. Increase shelf space for more books to be accommodated. New blinds, as the current ones are broken and unattractive. Better organisation of the circulation desk to allow for 2 computers and a printer, and preferably a returns chute. A paper recycling bin Whiteboard to replace chalkboard Replace front wall with a Superstructure wall to support Smartboard and TV and conceal cables.
N EEDS – P RIMARY ’ S L IBRARY New computer desks to accommodate more students and to make the most of available space. New chairs that are higher and that are all the same. Comfortable and adaptable seating for the reading area. Display areas for featured books and themes. Storage for classroom folders. Storage for headphones, chess sets, games, etc. Signage to direct students to the relevant sections.
