Beaumont World Fit “Walking to Rio and Back”

What is World Fit World Fit is a program created and backed by over 8,000 Olympians and Paralympians dedicated to fight childhood obesity in America. It is a six-week walking program developed for elementary and middle school students. Logging Your Miles During the six weeks you will be asked to keep track of your miles. Each student will get there own username and password to use on the World Fit site. At the end of the six weeks each student should have 60 campus miles they have earned while walking at school.

Other Activities That Count If you are involved in other activities outside of school hours, you can receive sport and activity credit that can be applied to “walking miles” as well. Activities such as: aerobics, archery, baseball, basketball, bicycling, bowling, dance, discus, diving, horseback riding, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, rollerblading, softball, soccer, karate, tennis, trampoline, volleyball, wrestling, etc.
