Background Information Staff worked with SCLA on scope for North Park November MF requests on hold for revisions August SCLA provided the City a letter of commitment to participate in the cost of park amenities via Matching Funds in the amount of $92,700 Based on this commitment and favorable bids keeping project under budget, the amenities were installed during construction

Background Information CC adopted MF Policy revisions March 20, 2012 Matching funds for North Park amenities – Three (3) Scoreboards ($19,200) – Three (3) Scorer’s Tables ($25,200) – Three (3) Shade Structures ($141,000) Funding Match – SCLA Cash Match $ 92,700 – SPDC Matching Funds$ 92,700 $185,400

Benefits of Project Scoreboards, scorer’s tables & shade structures enhance the development of the park, as well as the experience of the players and spectators Approval of SCLA matching funds request offsets City costs already incurred
