Stretch Break

Northern Kentucky Cooperative for Educational Services

Learning Target:  I will understand the four concepts of the FISH philosophy and identify ways to apply it to my work environment at NKCES

ACTIVITY:  Divide in groups with cards  Work with your team to share key ideas of your assigned FISH Philosophy concept. Share one specific way that we could(or can continue) to apply it to NKCES.  You may create a poster, perform a skit, sing a song or share in any other way that will help us learn.  REMEMBER TO TAKE A POSITIVE RISK AND HAVE FUN !

We put energy into what we enjoy, and finding ways to “play” can jumpstart creativity. Play is not about acting irresponsibility; it’s about finding ways to have more fun accomplishing serious goals.

Few things are as rewarding and infectious as lifting another person’s spirits. Through an act of kindness or engagement, you can turn routine encounters into unforgettable experiences.

The glue in our humanity is in “being there” for one another. When you are fully present, you can make a positive difference is someone’s life with every encounter.

When you look for the worst you will find it everywhere. When you look for the best you will find new opportunities for learning and fulfillment. The attitude you choose each day not only affects you but everyone around you.

QUOTE-ABLE LEARNING CHECK

SELECT ONE QUOTE AND SHARE how it applies to the philosophy concepts!
