1 Report instructions The report form has been transformed to a dashboard/quad chart style used in many workplaces for status reporting. The idea is to convey the most important information in a quick-to-digest format. Tips for completion: If you haven’t downloaded your new logo yet, go to newlogo.swe.org Photos are requested to be high resolution (300 dpi or higher) if possible for potential inclusion in the SWE Magazine Yearbook article. IF THE PHOTOS HAVE MINORS, YOU MUST HAVE A PHOTO RELEASE. Successes: success looks different for each section/MAL region, and that’s okay! A 15 member section is likely not going to be as active as a 200 member section. But list what you have done that furthers SWE mission, whether it’s a repeat program or something new. Challenges/feedback section: do you have an idea for how to make SWE better? Are you out of ideas for solving a problem that maybe someone else can help with? We want you to be successful, this box is how you can help us help you! For the goals section, copy and paste the color box that corresponds to your progress over each goal box (the first column over the goal) Blue = complete Green = on track (this includes having a plan in place for a future event to meet the goal, like at our annual eweek outreach event we’ll share SWENext info and then use the metric tool. Most boxes should be green or blue!) Yellow = behind but plan in place to recover Red = in trouble/need help (if a red box appears, there should be info in the challenges box!) No, there isn’t space for more than a few custom goals. Goals are not meant to encompass every business-as-usual thing you do, but rather something you want to pay special attention to this year, either because it’s new or because you are aiming to specifically improve in that area.
