Overview of Program We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution is the most extensive program in the country to educate young people about the history and principles of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The curriculum was developed by the Center for Civic Education at James Madison’s Montpelier. The program was designed to commemorate the framing and adoption of the Constitution and to revitalize educational programs on the Constitution and civic education in our nation’s schools.

We the People State Coordinator Emily Voss, State Coordinator has been inspirational to the continued development and growth of the We the People Curriculum in our school system. She is elated by the overwhelming support by our division administration, parents and community.
