Greetings All EDU 671 Introduction

My name is Anitra, I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where I currently reside with my husband and three awesome children.

Professional/Educational Background I am a Teacher at Renaissance Head Start in Detroit. I have been working in early childhood since 2003 A.A.S Degree w/specialization in Early Childhood from Schoolcraft College (2011) B.A. Degree in Education Studies from Ashford University (2013) Currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Education w/specialization in Early Childhood from Ashford University

My Influence I have always done very well in school however may quiet and timid behavior limited my abilities to flourish until I met a Preschool Teacher (Carolyn Roseboro) volunteering at my daughter’s school. She encouraged me to follow my heart in working with children as well as continuing my education.

My Interest I love volunteering with my children baseball, cheerleading, football and soccer team as a team mom I love volunteering with the youth at my church I am a sports fanatic
