Illinois Space Society Dan Regan Tech Meeting

Goals for this meeting Go over projects in more detail Create lists of project interest Determine which additional projects may be worked on Set initial timeline for projects Determine interest in leadership positions

NASA USLI Design and build a high power rocket and UAV quadrotor payload!

USLI Subgroups Structures: Build, test, and simulate the rocket Payload: Design, build, program UAV, science payload Recovery: Work on rocket recovery hardware, altimeters, ejection charges, etc.

USLI Dates/Deadlines Notification Selection: Sept 27 This fall: organize teams, build and test rocket and UAV, prepare for competition and the spring. Next semester: Finish payload, have a complete test launch with working payload, travel to Huntsville for the competition (April 17-21)

NASA Microgravty University Design a zero gravity experiment to fly on NASA’s microgravity plane Project led by Dan Regan

Microgravity University NASA JSC in Houston, TX “Systems Engineering” NASA selects a handful of different projects We apply for our favorites with a short essay and team resumes

Microgravity University This is an exclusive project Nationals only There will be an application process to join the team Extremely fun and an incredible Experience, and a teal research opportunity.
