RESULTS DAY SUMMER th Form Level 1/2

DATE: Thursday 25 th August PLACE: School Theatre TIME: Results available from 0900

When you open your envelope you will find a statement of results for all of the public examinations that you have ever taken during your time at our school. * Always choose the best result for each subject if you have taken it more than once

What happens if you can’t make it on the day? Bring in a stamped addressed envelope before the end of term and we will post your results to you to arrive on results day. Organise for someone to pick them up on your behalf. They will need a letter of permission from you as well as some form of ID for themselves. WE CANNOT THEM TO YOU WE CANNOT GIVE THEM OUT OVER THE PHONE

CERTIFICATES

What’s the difference between a statement of results and a certificate?

A statement of results looks like this It is produced by the school and costs 5p.

A certificate looks like this It is an official document produced by the exam board. It would cost about £40 to replace if it was lost or damaged !

Future employers/universities will expect to see your certificates at interviews. When will you receive them?

They are usually available around the beginning of November. If you stay on in the 6 th Form, your certificates will be passed on to you during form time. If you leave school at the end of year 12/13, we will contact you to let you know that your certificates are ready to be collected.
