Evaluating a Commercial Product From a designers point of view!

Evaluation Should be done throughout the design process Constant reference to the specification ‘Benchmarking’ with other similar product types and using previous experience

Your evaluation? The most important part of evaluating a product is finding out what the people who buy and use the machine think of it. Do you think DC11 Telescope fulfilled its brief? Why? Why not?

Your Task Choose one household product you are familiar with and give an introduction on the product. E.g. price, target market and brief specification Select 5 factors that influence design and justify your choice, I.e. why they are important enough to evaluate from a designer’s point of view
